Q&A

adidas Futures 2012 National Tournament:

Who?  32 adidas Futures Travel Ball All-Star coaches together will select up to 550 elite uncommitted/unsigned softball athletes from all over the country.

What? The adidas Futures National Tournament is a softball tournament of elite uncommitted/unsigned softball athletes ages 14-18.  These athletes will be selected by each of the adidas Futures Travel Ball All-Star Coaches via one day tryouts.

When is the tournament? July 17-22, 2012

Where? Canyons Softball Complex in St. George, Utah

Why? There is a need for a better recruiting template.  We feel the athletes and college coaches need a better arena for the recruiting process.  The adidas Futures National Tournament will provide that arena by only allowing uncommitted/unsigned players to participate in the tournament.

How? The all-star coaches are selected from an on-line application process.  Each coach will submit an application explaining as to why he/she is deserving of this position.  Please see coach application tab on main page.  These selected top all-star coaches will pick their top uncommitted/unsigned players that can be within their region and/or outside their region.  An individual player that is uncommitted/unsigned may attend an open tryout being held by one of the adidas Futures coaches.  Please “like” us on our facebook page www.facebook.com/adidasfutures for tryout information.
